Using the advice of Mr. Matt-tastic, i'm posting on here my technical problems because a) I donno what the hell I"m doing and B) I don't trust the (rest of the) internet. So

I'm trying to get DVDs I own form the DVD to my new, video iPod. There are multiple programs out there to do this, I"m sure, and I have no clue what to use. I currently have dvd decrypter and videora downloaded, one to get files off the DVD and one to put them on my iPod. The problem is, when I did this with the movie Planet of the Apes I wound up with like 12 files, all parts of the movie(ranging from 0 sec to 20 min), and the parts that were actual movie(not the 0 sec thingies) were jumbled and the sound was WAY off. Any ideas?
